Jeanette attended California State University, Fresno where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Children & Families. She received her Master of Education in Cross-Cultural Teaching from National University. Jeanette also possesses her Multiple Subject CLAD Credential as well as her Child Development Program Director Permit. Jeanette began teaching at Modesto Junior College in January, 2008. Prior to teaching at MJC, she taught at Merced College for 5 years.
In addition to her teaching position here at MJC, Jeanette is an Independent Study Teacher at Denair Charter Academy, where she has developed a program for Teen Parents. She is also the Community Education Director for the Turlock Pregnancy Center.
Jeanette was raised in California. She met her husband while they attended high school together. Together they have 2 children and 3 dogs. She enjoys doing activities with her 2 boys which includes baseball, soccer, basketball, and just hanging out. Jeanette attends New Life Christian Center in Turlock.
